Art conservation by anoxia

An environmentally-friendly solution to prevent insects, larvae and eggs from developing without altering the objects and organisms treated.

Anoxia and conservation

Conservation by anoxia is used to control wood-eating insects in all types of environments. A 100% environmentally-friendly solution to prevent insects, larvae and eggs from developing without altering the objects and organisms treated.

Anoxia can be carried out in our GERBAUD ISOLATION sealed chambers or, for greater flexibility, in a sealed plastic bubble. ABSOGER also provides fire prevention systems using hypoxic storage, for art conservation and physical integrity.

Benefits

Our anoxia system guarantees a harmless and effective treatment of objects while being environmentally-friendly.

ABSOGER offers responsible solutions and provides a win-win alternative, with certified results which are more economical in the long run.

In addition, all our solutions are customised, and you receive ABSOGER's trademark personalised support and follow-up. We don’t just offer a partnership, we offer a collaboration based on understanding your needs and adapting to them.

How it works

The anoxia process for works of art can be carried out inside a sealed chamber with fixed or bubble equipment.

For greater flexibility in the various applications, it is possible to carry out this treatment from a mobile nitrogen generation and humidity management unit, which allows the treatment to be applied on a flexible and sealed plastic bubble.
